Business Opportunity Specific Claims

• When discussing the MonaVie opportunity, you must mention that the purchase of tools is optional.
  
• The word FREE should never be used to describe MonaVie products - regardless of how they're obtained.
  
• Emphasize retail sales program as part of the opportunity.
  

Autoship

• You MUST indicate that Auto-Ship is optional for becoming a distributors AND is not required to earn compensation:
• Position Autoship as a great way to ensure you never run out of product to service your customers, to share with prospects and, if appropriate, to purchase limited quantities for personal use.
• Do not imply that Autoship is a way to remain active or qualify for compensation.
• Example: “Neither a product order nor participation in the Auto-Ship program are required to become a distributor, activate, or remain active. Both are optional".
  

Purchasing Requirements

• Do not imply that personal purchases are a requirement to participate in the compensation plan. Such a requirement would be in violation of applicable anti-pyramid laws. The PV from sales made to preferred customers will generate the PV to be Active for participation.
• Do not require a distributor to purchase a minimum amount of product.

Income Claims

• Any reference to or discussion about earnings and/or lifestyle must be accompanied with a copy of the Income Disclosure Statement (IDS) for Canada that the Distributor can either hold or see (if projected or placed at the front of the audience). If in an AV format, include a line stating: "Please see the MonaVie Income Disclosure Statement at the end of this CD/DVD or at MonaVie Canada’s website for complete information regarding the earnings of MonaVie distributors."
  

Comp Plan

• Any compensation plan reference or discussion (person or paper) including any reference to lifestyle must be accompanied by a copy of the Income Disclosure Statement for Canada that the Distributor can either hold or see (if projected or placed at the front of the audience). If in an AV format, include a line stating: "Please see the MonaVie Income Disclosure Statement at the end of this CD/DVD or at www.MonaVie.com for complete information regarding the typical earnings of MonaVie distributors."
• PV is "generated" not "purchased."
• Emphasize that with the PV generated from retail sales to preferred customers, a distributor does not need to be active or qualified to earn profit.
• Use wording like "Build teams that duplicate by helping your personally sponsored distributors build their businesses and you will earn a $40 Star Makers Bonus"
  • Regarding Rank Advancements, either is acceptable:
  • To qualify for the following ranks one must be active with 100 or more of personally-generated points during the qualifying week.
  • Be active with 100 or more personally-generated points during the qualifying week.
• Avoid the words "investment" or "invest". It's OK to talk about investing time or effort -- but not money. Accordingly, use words like "cost" or "expenditure" to describe the Starter Kit.
